Research notes
Research notes

Nutrition is from the current Nutrition Facts panel in the Amazon listing's image gallery: 2 oz (56 g) dry gives 190 kcal, 1 g fat, 38 g carbs (5 g fiber), 2 g sugar and 10 g protein, with about 7 servings per container. Target's label text for Protein+ Spaghetti shows the same values. Barilla's own spec sheet (the SyncPDI panel embedded on barilla.com, GTIN 00076808533606) lists 39 g carbs and 4 g fiber, which looks like an older label. The Amazon 'Nutrition facts' text card is older still (210 kcal, 2 g fat), so it was not used. Made from semolina plus lentil flour, pea protein and chickpea flour. Price rule: Amazon's current one-time price, shipped and sold by Amazon.com, with no deal badge and no Typical price shown. The $2.74 Subscribe & Save price was ignored. Penne was used instead of spaghetti because Amazon does not sell the 14.5 oz Protein+ Spaghetti box itself, only third-party multipacks. Barilla gives the same nutrition for every Protein+ shape. servingsPerPackage is the label's 'about 7' (14.5 oz / 2 oz = 7.25).
